Here are a few examples of work
we have completed recently for satisfied customers:
|
|

|
This customer needed help with the redecoration
of her dining room. Rubbing down of the wordwork,
filling of any holes, preparing the plaster for
painting, fixing a picture rail, painting the ceiling
with emulsion, painting the skirtings and picture
rail with gloss, emulsioning the walls and cleaning
up afterwards! Other jobs we did while we were there
were re-fitting the radiator and the fire surround
and boxing in some pipework.

This lady had a metal joining strip separating
her wooden kitchen floor from the lounge carpet.
Unfortunately the carpet had torn away from the
strip and left an obvious hole. She really didn't
want to replace the whole carpet. So we fitted a
lovely piece of stained oak across the join instead
of the metal strip, much cheaper than a new carpet.

These original sash windows were in a very bad
way. The wooden sills had rotted and had holes in
them and bits of the framework were missing. After
a severe rub down, filling of holes and replacing
the wooden sills we also fitted new strips of wood
at the bottom of the windows to help the water run
away from the sills and causing further damage.
With the masonry and woodwork painted and a clean
of the windows they have years left in them.

A hole in the worktop and water dripping through.
We removed two lengths of worktop and two new pieces
were lifted in through the upstairs windows! In
place and joined made the kitchen as good as new.
We also fitted isolator valves to the taps so that
any future jobs involving turning off the water
become so much easier.

The en-suite bathroom was very worn out and in
need of some TLC. The customer chose the shower
enclosure, toilet and basin and suggested a new
layout. The whole room was cleared, re-tiled and re-fitted
with new flooring and accessories.

We've been asked for some strange things but
a stable wall was the most unusual! Despite Mick
stressing that he is NOT a bricklayer, she wanted
us to build her a new wall and make some changes
to the stable doors. She will be painting the wall
white in her own time.

Some security was needed for the rear garden
so this couple wanted a driveway gate and a matching
fence along the boundary wall. Access was made easy
with a locking walk-through gate, all finished with
mahogany stain and high gloss varnish.

A surprise makeover for a teenager bedroom while
he was away for the weekend! The customer had already
bought this shiny silver paper for one wall and
a more sober grey for the rest. A quick re-decoration
and fitting some matching curtain rails and bits
and bobs made his day.

The fascia on this garage was black painted wood
which had rotted and was leaving the garage open
to all weathers. This was all removed, the brickwork
insulated and a new white UPVC fascia fitted. We
were asked back a couple of weeks later to re-felt
the front of the roof too.

Wishing wells, wheelbarrow, windmills! Any design
or size of planters for the garden or as a water
feature. These are ideal as gifts or to decorate
your own garden or patio. You choose the wood colour,
the size, the design and the flowers and we will

This home had an unsightly boiler hanging on
the kitchen wall with pipes all over the place.
By creating a neat cupboard around it, it now matched
the rest of the kitchen units. It covered up
the boiler, while still allowing easy access to
the controls, and the lower half of the cupboard
was ideal for storing the brooms and brushes etc.

Old galvanised garden gates soon lose their good
looks when they become tatty and start to rust.
This gate was rubbed down and given a new lease
of life with a coat of black hammerite and a little
remedial work on the hinges.
